Starting a clothing company seems like a cool idea, but will you manage to make it come true? Having great ideas is – of course – very nice, however you must have some luck along the way, too. Luckily for him – Ben Farleigh of London-based streetwear line Yes No Maybe inhereted a screen printer from his dad’s old workplace, along with some screen-printing frames, so he could start the old-school way: try / fail / learn.
After the nucleus of Yes No Maybe was created Ben managed to broaden his apparel to many various items within next few years. It now offers hooded sweaters, bags, beanies, caps and many other sweet little thingies. It would be almost impossible to present Yes No Maybe whole offer in a single post, so I’ll rather introduce their latest winter line, called Filthy Dirty.
- Concept
As you can see Filthy Dirty collection features a splodgy design which is covering each item as a whole. Grey, black and blue stains in various shades are printed onto white pieces of clothes, which makes a great looking combination, especially if you’re wearing it outside (i.e. – hoodies).
- Offer
Similar to Yes No Maybe previous lines, such as Bukkake Ruined My Carpet and Streetglam, Filthy Dirty collection is very diverse, featuring such products as zip-up hoodies (in both men and women styles), women-styled sweaters, vests and caps. It’s certainly much more than many other similar companies offer, however I think they might have included a men-styled sweater, too.
- Prices
Prices range depending on desired item, starting from £25.65 for women-sytles T-shirts and vests, £39.60 for women-styled crew sweater, up to £53.10 for both men and women-styled zip-thru hoodies. Prices fit the offer well, I only think that £26.09 for baseball cap is a bit pricey. However that’s just my humble opinion and it shouldn’t prevent you from ordering it.
In conclusion I’d like to state Yes No Maybe is a very interesting clothing company you should have your eye on. They not only have a wide range of products in their offer, but also feature nice, deliberate designs that represent young opinionated people, not forgetting everything’s relative in life.
Would I recommend Filthy Dirty to you? Yes. Would I lie if I tell you YNM has more cool lines? No. Would I like other items added to Filthy Dirty line? Maybe.
I’d love to hear your opinion on Fithy Dirty line. Would you perhaps like to own some other Yes No Maybe item? Let us all know by leaving your comment below – your opinion is greatly appreciated!
